Vacations are so important {Pismo Beach Photographer}
We get so wrapped up in everyday life. If I asked you right now give me 3 reasons you can not leave on vacation, you could name them easily. Work, money, kids, responsibilities, car, animals to take care of, school, transportation... the list could go on and on. If I asked you to give me 3 reasons why you should go on vacation the list is much shorter. To relax, get away, take a break... You see, it's always easy for us to figure out why we should not do something that we desire to do.Owning a business I don't get paid vacation but I find that it is so important to take a break. Kids are in school full-time and working from home I don't always make myself "out of the office" time. When the phone rings I answer it, when emails come through I answer them, I'm always working, or so it seems. This vacation gave me just what I needed. To be re-energized, to reconnect and to refocus.Of course I hang out with my family, I spend time with my husband and so on, but to have devoted time for one another, to spend ever minute of every day with your kids who are growing up so fast, to focus your time and energy only on them... they need it and I need it.I am thankful for the money we spent on vacation, the laughs we shared, the time that went by and the memories we made.
