Brandon & Toni {Nashville Wedding}
Let me introduce you to the awesome couple who hired me to come out and photograph their wedding day. What an honor! I am humbled every time people ask me to photograph one of the most important days of their lives but to fly me out to photograph their wedding... it's an amazing feeling!The were married at a large park called Centennial Park. There are a few little spots in this park to gather and one of them is the art center. This is where the ceremony was held. Outside surrounded by grass, trees, brick and loved ones. It was like a little space filled with love. As we were doing some pictures before the wedding it started to sprinkle. It was no big deal, we got her inside she was not panicked at all.Just before she was ready to start walking down the aisle the clouds opened up and it started pouring. Now the rain I am used to is California rain. When it starts it's cloudy, gloomy and it's wet. It also cools down after a rain storm. Well, everyone at the wedding, were used to Tennessee weather so it was not big deal to them. They said "Just wait a few minutes, the weather will change". And they were right, it did change. But as we were waiting for the weather to change, it was raining. Hard. Let me tell you about rain in Nashville. It's not gloomy, wet and cool. It's muggy, it doesn't cool down when it rains, it only gets hotter and if you didn't look at your self and see you are wet you would not know. It's crazy. I love rain. LOVE rain. But I'm not sure I love that rain. I do love the thunder and lightning storms that come with that rain, but not the muggy that comes with it.Back to my wedding. We did wait and in about 15 minutes the clouds were still big, white and fluffy but the rain stopped. They walked down the grassy aisle, said I DO and just like that they were a married couple. The two of them are so very sweet. I didn't get to hang out with them a whole lot and as with most weddings I do not know them all that well, but I do know that they are a special couple who knows how to love. I can see it in both of their eyes. I look forward to watching their love grow!! Thank you again Brandon and Toni for inviting me to your wedding day.
