Camping Cake Smash {Lake Arrowhead Photographer}

I thoroughly enjoy photographing kids! They are full of wonder. They are curious about everything and when you win them over, they will laugh and smile for you!This little guy turned one this month! He is so cute and he loved his cake! Typically when I do cake smashes, the expectation is that the little one is so excited to have a cake of his own that he just dives in and makes a mess. Well, what usually ends up happening, is that they are not sure about it and then we {mom and dad} make the mess for them. But if you think about it, we tell them no, don't play with your food for a year  and then we put a cake in front of them and say... "play with your food". LOLHis Mom found a place on Etsy that had this little fire-place and log set for sale.  She found it at Two Tiny Sunshines. Christi is the business owners name and she does amazing work! I have to say, it's a really cute and awesome set!! It has the logs, some rocks, the fire, marshmallows and sticks!! OH, and it came with an axe.  They are all hand-made felt products! I took a look at her site, A-Mazing stuff! I will be placing an order when I need props for kids! I mean, LOOK at that camp fire!! SO cute!!This handsome little guy was excited about his cake! He started right in and made his own mess. We helped him along, but he did an awesome job of getting started!
